Donald Trump Jr. is feeling the blistering mockery of social media after an embarrassing tweet involving “Saturday Night Live”.

It all started when the eldest son of U.S. President Donald Trump retweeted a politically charged missive, writing that the tweet was “almost like a funny version of an S&L skit.”

Given that “Saturday Night Live” has been on the air for more than 40 years, pretty much everyone else knows that the show’s shortened acronym form is “SNL”, not “S&L”, which would imply the word “Night” is somehow “and.”

Numerous Twitter users gleefully mocked Trump Jr.’s goof, including “Captain America” star Chris Evans.

We’ll find out if the “S&L” gaffe gets mentioned on this weekend’s “Saturday Night Live”, airing Saturday, Feb. 2 at 8:30 p.m. PT/11:30 p.m. ET on Global.

In the meantime, check out more Twitter reaction to Trump Jr.’s tweet, including responses from former “SNL” cast member Bobby Moynihan, “Conan” sidekick Andy Richter and The Roots’ Questlove.
