“The Bachelor” star Colton Underwood drops by “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Friday where he talks about contestant Caelynn’s “brave” reveal and is gifted some brand new underwear.
The 27-year-old reality star speaks with DeGeneres about this week’s episode of “The Bachelor” which saw an emotional moment when Caelynn opened up about being sexually assaulted in college and the struggles she went through afterwards.

“There’s a few moments this season that are actually bigger than the show itself,” Underwood says. “Caelynn is extremely brave, and the fact that she confided in me with that safe space, I think it also allowed me to grow as a person and realize in society, men and women both need to take the time to listen.
“We’re so caught up in our own stories and having what we need to say, but taking the time to actually listen to sit down and really connect with someone else.”
DeGeneres then predicts that Caelynn and Cassie will be the final two bachelorettes. However, she might not want to get ahead of herself, as Underwood reveals that the upcoming Fantasy Suite week will be “pivotal.”
“Oh, I’ll bet,” quips DeGeneres, who jokes that because Underwood is a virgin, he probably spent his time in the fantasy suites playing board games with the ladies.
When the host asks if he is engaged now, Underwood plays coy, but he does give a rather revealing answer. “I can definitely say that I’m the happiest that I’ve ever been in my life,” he says.

Later in the show, Underwood confirms the rumour that he doesn’t like to wear underwear, but just for today, he decided to rock a pair of ELLEN boxers. DeGeneres then surprises him a new pair of briefs, which can be updated with the status of his virginity.
