Will Ferrell is resurrecting his iconic “Anchorman” character Ron Burgundy for a new podcast series and we now have our first trailer.

“The Ron Burgundy Podcast” will debut on iHeartRadio on February 7 and, judging from the short trailer, Burgundy will grill his guests with some hard-hitting, and at times, unusual, questions.

The 42-second clip sees Burgundy firing off a number of random questions, including, “What are your thoughts on climate change?” and “Have people ever thrown batteries or pennies at you?”

It turns out the cult-hero comedy character is asking these questions to the mascot San Diego Chicken, which certainly makes the question “Is it hard for you to eat chicken?” make a little more sense… kind of.

It’s unclear whether the podcast takes place in the same universe as the “Anchorman” movies; there is certainly no explanation in this trailer of why a ’70s news broadcaster now has his own podcast series.

“Ron believes he is the most qualified person in the world to host a podcast but everything he says is just plain wrong,” said iHeartPodcast Network President Conal Byrne in a statement.

“As I’ve stated before, iHeartRadio was forced into making this podcast with Ron. He has refused to stay away from our studios and is now camping out in a van across the street where he has recorded upwards of 100 cassette tapes of pure nonsense.”

The podcast is produced by iHeartRadio and Ferrell’s company Funny or Die and will feature 12 episodes. It begins streaming on iHeartRadio on February 7.
