Brooklyn Decker hit out at bodyshaming trolls on Twitter after one person said she looked “gangly.”
The 31-year-old, who is mother to Hank, 3, and 14-month-old Stevie, insisted her children had “sucked the life” out of her figure when she noticed the online criticism.
The troll in question said, “What happened to @BrooklynDecker She looked so good in ‘Just Go With It’ … Now she looks gangly and where did her body go?? I’m confused.”
Decker, who married husband Andy Roddick in 2009, replied, “For the umpteenth time — because people love to comment on my body (or lack thereof) my children sucked the life out of my body and left behind a bag of bones. I don’t know what else to tell you. I miss my boobs too. I don’t even know what to call them now.”
Decker’s comments come after she spoke to Us Weekly about parenthood back in 2013.
She shared, “Andy can’t ball up a diaper if his life depended on it. The amount of times I’ve found open dirty diapers on the floor when I’m, like, ‘There is Velcro here to help you ball this diaper up and toss it.’ It’s really quite a weakness of his.”
Decker continued: “He’s really amazing at waking up in the morning, which is shockingly hard for me. It’s, like, that 5:30 a.m. wake up is not easy and he just jumps up, grabs Stevie and is on the go. That’s really nice. It’s like relationship currency. He’s just filling up that bank with relationship currency. It’s really quite beautiful. I love it. I owe him a lot.”
