NeNe Leakes has a bone to pick with Lisa Vanderpump, with the reality star revealing yet another “Real Housewives” feud.
Appearing on Jenny McCarthy’s SiriusXM radio show, the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star contended that Vanderpump’s Hollywood restaurant and bar, PUMP, was actually her idea.
“She knows that we have a little something, something she did to me,” Leakes told McCarthy. “I’ve never really addressed it. She did some real foul s**t to me.”
According to Leakes, a few years back when she and husband Gregg Leakes were living in Los Angeles while she worked on Ryan Murphy’s TV series “Glee” and “The New Normal”, she had the idea of opening up a bar in West Hollywood.
“We would ride down that West Hollywood area where all the gay bars are — and I have a large gay fan base — and I kept thinking, ‘It would be so cool if I had a bar right in here somewhere.’”
One day, Leakes discovered a place that was “empty and kind of raggedy-looking and torn down,” but would be perfect for what she had in mind. She then called Vanderpump to tell her what she’d found.
“She said, ‘Oh darling, darling, it’s a piece of crap and they’re charging so much for it darling.’ She talked me off of it and then went and got it,” said Leakes. “That’s so f**ked up.”
Shortly after, added Leakes, Vanderpump opened PUMP in West Hollywood, and the two have not spoken about it since.
“Now when she sees me, she’s like, ‘Hi NeNe,'” Leakes said.
Vanderpump has since denied Leakes’ allegations, saying, according to People: “It’s the first thing I’ve heard about it in six years, so it’s been a surprise. It’s my 35th restaurant.”
