Meadow Walker, 16, has reached a settlement worth $10.1 million in relation to the death of her father, Paul Walker, in a fatal car crash in 2013.
Walker’s attorney, Jeff Milam, says the case argued that the driver of the car, Roger Rodas, was partly responsible for the accident. This may come as a surprise, because it is believed that Rodas was not “directing the car through any particularly unsafe maneuvers when it went out of control.”;

It is has not been reported how much of the money will come from the driver’s insurance company and how much may be taken from his personal estate. And Meadow is not done – she is moving forward with a lawsuit against Porsche, claiming design defects in the car caused the crash. She’ll have an uphill battle, however, as Rodas’ widow filed a similar suit that was thrown out because the claims were unsupportable.

Meadow’s lawyer says the $10.1 million is only a small fraction of what Meadow should receive, considering the star-power of Paul Walker and his lead in the “Fast and Furious”; franchise. Walker was 40-years-old when the men fatally crashed into a concrete lamp pole.
