Drake’s long-awaited album now has a release date, with Drizzy himself announcing Views From the 6 will drop on Friday, Apr. 29, exclusively on Apple Music and iTunes.

Drake made the announcement yesterday on Beats 1’s OVO Sound Radio show, finally setting a date for the highly anticipated album.
“Views is dropping April 29,” said the Toronto rapper. “It’s something that I’ve been working really hard on, myself and [producer] 40… Trying to craft a lifestyle track, a sound for our city.”

He added: “It’s not a short ting [sic]. There’s a lot of music on there. You’ll have your full share of Drake music for the summer and for the year. Forever.”
Drake followed up his announcement by tweeting a short announcement video showcasing his hometown, even including a brief snippet from his Degrassi days:
