Avril Lavigne Addresses Ongoing Health Battle In New Song ‘Warrior’, Previews More Album Tracks

Avril Lavigne opens up about her ongoing health battle in her latest Head Above Water album track “Warrior”.

The 34-year-old shared a snippet of the new song on social media, confirming it was about her constant struggle with Lyme disease.

She then previewed another track, “Love Me Insane”, confirming the lyrics were “about daring oneself to risk falling in love again.”

Lavigne added, “Love can be scary – but it’s better to have loved than have not at all.”

The Canadian musician also urged her fans not to settle for less than they deserve as she debuted the track “Bigger Wow”.

Lavigne’s upcoming album Head Above Water is set to be released February 15. All three songs are included on the LP.
