Lana Condor discusses everything from those Noah Centineo dating rumours to her new-found fame in the new issue of Cosmopolitan.
Condor, 21, who lives with her long-time boyfriend Anthony De La Torre, 26, admits she and her “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before” co-star Centineo, 22, did nothing to stop the romance claims.
She admits, “Noah and I definitely encouraged the speculation. But it’s because we believe in the story and the characters and we genuinely love each other. You can truly love someone in a very platonic way.”
Condor adds of her real-life relationship: “There’s no other person in this world I want to spend every day doing nothing with… and you best believe I’m gonna hold on to him real tight.”
The actress then says of experiencing overnight fame due to the Netflix movie: “I had a week of transition where I was, like, ‘I have to be okay with it. This is my new reality.’”
Condor also talks about being a role model for Asian-Americans, being half Korean.
She shares, “I know how many people are looking to me. I’ve had so many little Asian girls and older Asian women come up to me. Because of that, I’m really aware and proud of who I am and what I look like.”
