Kylie Jenner On Social Media Haters: ‘I’ve Gotten So Numb To It’

Kylie Jenner is opening up in a probing interview with Adweek, discussing her growing brand, how she deals with social media negativity and admitting that it would be “exhausting”; to look as glamourous as she does on a daily basis.

“I feel like people want to see me have a cool hair colour and dress a certain way and have pretty makeup and heels,”; she says of the difference between the public Kylie and how she is in her private life. “If they were to see me in public, they would expect me to look like that…. it’s also exhausting for everyday life.”;

She admits that difference extends to what she shares on social media. “I only post on Instagram or Snapchat what I want people to see, you know?”; she says. “But there’s a whole other side to me that people don’t know.”;

Dealing with negative comments on social media, she notes, is simply something that she’s had to become used to. “Honestly, I feel like at this point I’ve gotten so numb to it. I still do my thing and people still love me,”; she says. “It doesn’t really affect me.”;
