The class of 2013 didn’t disappoint – as the amazing stars singled out for their tremendous performances this year all came together for the Oscar luncheon!
A couple of former Sexiest Men Alive were on hand. But it was Hugh Jackman giving secrets of the club to our own Erin Cebula.
“The Sexiest Man Alive thing, then the Oscars happened and I realized that it really was, that Sexiest Man Alive thing, really was the highlight,”; he reveals.
Erin asked Hugh to compare the title to an Oscar nomination, to his reply: “It’s better. I mean there is a certain group of people with respect, who have respect for themselves. This means nothing. “
Of course Hugh had a giant grin on his face throughout, joking that his first Oscar nomination wasn’t a HUGE deal, which of course it is. Hugh once again thanked his wife who convinced him not to quit Les Miserables when he got nervous… she’s a keeper!
Fellow nominee Jennifer Lawrence was also on hand – her second time at the Oscar luncheon – and told us she will of course be at the Academy Awards on Sunday, February 24, but the day after she’s right back to Hawaii to film more of Catching Fire!
“Hopefully this time around I won’t be as terrified over the entire ordeal,”; she admits. “By the time I made it to the Oscars I was like oh my God I can’t believe I am here, freaking out, hopefully I will be calmer.”;
The 22-year-old star also explains that while she is known for her amazing red carpet looks, she’d rather just be in her pajamas: “You should see me at home when I am not working, I’ve turned into… I am either working or I am not changing my pants for two weeks and just laying on the couch.”;
