UPDATE: Vince Neil Denies Dragging Woman By Hair In Vegas Fracas With Nicolas Cage

UPDATE: Monday, Apr. 11 (2:30 p.m. ET) – Vince Neil is denying reports that he dragged a woman by her hair and threw her to the ground, leading the Motley Crue front man to be physically restrained by pal Nicolas Cage.

According to TMZ (which originally reported the story), sources close to Neil say the woman in question was “very aggressive”; in attempting to get autographs from Neil and Cage while they had lunch. “We’re told Vince admits he was annoyed and “pushed past her’ … but insists he did not grab her by her hair,”; claims TMZ.

However, law enforcement officials reviewed security camera footage of the incident, and stand by the citation issued.

“We’re told alcohol was definitely involved — the group, which included Carrot Top, was drinking during lunch,”; notes TMZ, adding the red-headed comedian “bolted as soon as the incident happened and was nowhere to be seen when police arrived.”;

Nicolas Cage and pal Vince Neil almost came to blows outside of a Las Vegas casino this week.

The incident occurred outside the Aria Hotel on the Vegas strip early Thursday evening, following an alleged altercation with a fan.

According to sources, Cage and Neil were inside the hotel when an autograph-seeking fan approached the Oscar-winning actor. Allegedly, Neil moved behind the woman, grabbing her by the hair and pulling her to the ground.

Cage, in an effort to calm Neil down, escorted him out of the hotel. TMZ obtained footage of the two men were locked in a struggle, where Cage can be heard shouting at Neil to “stop this s*%$ now.”; The “Leaving Las Vegas”; actor can be seen forcibly restraining the Motley Crue singer, preventing him from re-entering the hotel.

Cage was eventually able to persuade his friend to get into a car and the pair left the hotel property.

TMZ reports that Neil was cited with battery but was not taken into police custody.
