Even after all these years, Billy Crystal still thinks he can tell when someone is faking it.
The legendary actor and comedian appeared on “The Late Late Show” Tuesday night and, along with host James Corden, did a loving parody of the famous “faking it” scene from “When Harry Met Sally”.

Playing the Meg Ryan part, Corden explains to Crystal how exhausting it can be as a late-night host.
“Some guests, frankly, they think they’re way more interesting than they actually are,” Corden says.
Crystal responds that Corden doesn’t have to worry about him because late-night hosts always love him. Corden in return contends that Crystal wouldn’t know the difference anyway.
He then fakes laughter louder and louder until everyone around them is staring and Crystal becomes more and more uncomfortable.

Also on the show, Crystal talked about having hosted the Oscars nine times, and his thoughts on the big awards show going host-less this year.
“They have very creative producers, I know some funny people who are doing it,” he said. “I think it can work great.”
