Jennifer Lopez will take the stage at Sunday’s Grammys but news of her performance didn’t go down too well online.
Rap-Up announced Tuesday that J.Lo would be taking part in a tribute for Motown’s 60th anniversary. However, social media users questioned why the hitmaker had been tapped to do the honours.

The news comes as it was reported Wednesday that Ariana Grande would no longer be performing at the ceremony.
Variety reported that the singer felt “insulted” after producers refused to let her perform certain songs.
The publication stated she was initially told she couldn’t perform her latest hit “7 Rings”, before being told she could belt out the track as part of a medley.
However, Grande was then said to have pulled out altogether after producers insisted “the second song be of their choosing.”
Post Malone, Travis Scott, Cardi B, and Janelle Monae are among those set to take the stage.
