Gavin Polone, one of the exec producers of Gilmore Girls during 2000-2007, is reportedly suing Warner Bros. Television for breach of contract.

According to Gossip Cop, Polone claims he has not been compensated for the upcoming Netflix revival, stating in his suit that he and Warner Bros. made a deal in 1999 that he would be paid for any original episodes being aired on TV.
Lawyers for Warner Bros., however, are arguing that the four follow-up Gilmore Girls movies for Netflix don’t count, as they’ll be watched via online streaming and not broadcast on a traditional TV network.

Polone is seeking more than $195,000 in damages.
