There are a lot of Hemsworth brothers in Hollywood, that’s just a fact of life, and sometimes it’s easy to confuse them — just ask Jimmy Fallon.

In the opening skit to Wednesday’s episode of “The Tonight Show”, the late-night host had a run-in with Liam Hemsworth — the youngest of the acting siblings — who is best known for his role in the “Hunger Games” movies and being married to Miley Cyrus.

He is not, as Fallon foolishly thought, in the “Avengers” films; that’s his older brother Chris. “I gotta tell ya, you were great in the Avengers movies. I just can’t wait for Endgame, I’m freaking out,” Fallon told Liam as they waited for an elevator.

Nor did he have a recurring role in the HBO series “Westworld”; that’s his other older brother, Luke. “I’m the other-other brother,” the “Independence Day: Resurgence” star joked.

However, Liam also suffered from a case of absent-mindedness, flipping the script on Fallon as he confused him for the likes of “How I Met Your Mother Star” Josh Radnor and Jim Parson’s Sheldon Cooper.

“You know my wife is a huge fan of your show,” Liam said. “You should see our DVR, nothing but Big Bang Theory. Bazinga!”

The mistaken identities got increasingly weird from there, but nothing was more devastating than when Liam confused Fallon for fellow late-night host Jimmy Kimmel.

Elsewhere on the show, Liam chatted to Fallon about his marriage to Cyrus, his new rom-com movie “Isn’t It Romantic”, and played a game of “Catchphrase” with actress Jessica Williams and Super Bowl champion Rob Gronkowski.
