InStyle magazine got some serious girl talk out of the A-list ladies of Oz The Great and Powerful. From Michelle Williams gushing over her boyfriend Jason Segel to Mila Kunis giving a leather corset confession, these interviews play out like a wine night with the gal pals.
Williams, 32, claims she had no idea who her beau Segel, 33, was when they first met, telling the magazine, “I mean, I saw the Muppets movie, and I thought, oh, that’s cute, but the truth is I didn’t realize he made a lot of very popular, funny movies or was on a TV show. But maybe more important, I didn’t realize he was so tall [6”4″]. I thought, “Hey, man, you’re cramping my style!’ I tried wearing wedge heels for a while to compensate, but it wasn’t me and I just gave up.”;
While Williams was willing to cough up some tidbits about her relationship, Kunis, 29, was more inclined to talk fashion. “I spent a lot of the shoot in a leather corset, wired up in a harness, and flying around in a costume that weighed 10 pounds,”; she said of her Oz costume. “I hear some women enjoy wearing a corset, but tell them to try 17 hours of that and then get back to me.”;

As for her more embarrassing wardrobe choice, the actress admits, “I’ve been wearing the same pair of dark green Old Navy cargo pants, like, non-stop, for 15 years. I think I paid $4.99, on clearance. My friends hate them so much they hide them from me. When those pants fall apart, I swear I’m going to get someone to copy them for me.”;
Weisz, 42, chimed in about her fashion evolution as well, saying, “As a teenager I used to dress in big, baggy men’s suits, with lots of red lipstick. Then in my 20s I used to wear very tight thermal tops: underwear as outerwear. I was much curvier then too–I’d throw on a cardigan and big jeans. I didn’t start really growing up until my 30s. But I hope I don’t ever get too grown-up. I always try to hold on to something butch.”;
The March issue of InStyle hits newsstands this Friday, February 8, while Oz, also starring James Franco, comes to theaters March 8, 2013.
