The NHL player’s sartorial choices are getting the seal of approval from Sports Illustrated this week, crowning him one of their fashionable 50 alongside LeBron James, Serena Williams, David Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo, Dwayne Wade, Misty Copeland and Roger Federer.

The outspoken Toronto-native invited the magazine into his luxurious walk-in closet, where he showed off his colourful collection of suits, hats and a Thriller-inspired leather jacket. “If the place was burning down and I had to grab a couple things, I’d probably grab the hats first,” he said of his beloved collection.
The 26-year-old also opened up about his recent work with RW & Co, before hinting at high-fashion collaborations he’s eyeing for the future. “Maybe one day I can be able to do something with Tom Ford or Gucci,” he shared.
