Zac Brown is opening up to his fans about being caught in a drug bust last week.
The country star, who was at the scene of an arrest in Palm Beach, Florida addressed the incident on Facebook Friday.
“My dad always said nothing good ever happens when you stay out late. It’s a lesson I learned the hard way last week, being in the wrong place at the wrong time,” he began. “I attended a private gathering at a Miami-area hotel and had only been there for a short time when police officers arrived and arrested two people in the room who had just showed up a few minutes before.”

He continued, “I did not know these people and had no idea that there were drugs in their possession. I cooperated fully with the authorities and am not part of any ongoing police investigation.”
According to FOX411, police were called after a passerby noticed a suspicious vehicle outside of the Four Seasons Hotel. After searching the driver’s car and finding 35 bags of cocaine, he alerted officers to two women who were partying in the same hotel room as Brown and nine other people.
Brown’s name was included in the event report, but police maintain that the star was not involved
