Seth Meyers gave viewers quite the treat on Wednesday’s “Late Night”.
The host introduced an old-school “Saturday Night Live” “Weekend Update” skit starring Jason Sudeikis and Will Forte as the “Bon Jovi opposite band”: Jon Bovi.
The pair belted out hits from their Christmas album, including “Dyin’ on a Prayer” (instead of “Livin’ on a Prayer”) and “Groups” (instead of “Alone”).

Meyers questioned their version of “You Give Love A Bad Name” and its “Shot Through The heart” lyrics, which became “Stabbed in the Butt”.
The talk-show host also pointed out that the duo were simply adding the word “Christmas” to each of their tracks, which didn’t necessarily mean it was a festive song.
Sudeikis and Forte were then joined by Fred Armisen to answer some burning questions about the lost “SNL” Jon Bovi sketch that never aired.

The showbiz duo told Meyers that they’d actually pitched the “SNL” idea to Bon Jovi himself.
