Warning: Don’t Try This At Home!
50 Cent is the latest rapper to boycott Gucci following the backlash surrounding the black “balaclava jumper” that resembled blackface.
The rapper took boycotting to another level after he shared a video on Instagram of him burning one of the brand’s t-shirts.
“I gotta get rid of all the Gucci I have at home. I’m not supporting their brand anymore,” 50 Cent, a.k.a. Curtis Jackson, captioned the post.

Not only is his large wardrobe featured in the background, but he starts out the video by telling the people around him to “just relax.” After he set fire to the garment, the “Candy Shop” rapper attempted to blow out the flame after it became too hot to handle.
Just one day prior to the fiery post, the 43-year-old promised to donate his remaining Gucci apparel to the homeless.
