There is nothing Ben Affleck wants more in life than his son to support his beloved Boston sports teams.
Appearing on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Thursday, the “Triple Frontier” actor revealed that he’s been having a hard time convincing his son Samuel to become a New England Patriots fan and so has resorted to desperate measures.

Affleck started by taking his kids to a Patriots game and giving them a history lesson on what Boston sports means to him and the Affleck family.
“We’re really excited because we’re from Boston and this a big deal, and the Red Sox, and I’m giving them the whole history,” the “Batman v Superman” star explained. But what his son said next shocked him.
“Dad, you’re from Boston, I’m from L.A.,” Samuel said, which sent Affleck into what he described as an “existential crisis.”

The Oscar-winning actor couldn’t let the issue go and so he enlisted his Boston buddies to redecorate his son’s room “to help him understand where he comes from, if not literally, then at least spiritually.”
Affleck then shared photos of his son’s bedroom, which includes a massive football slide with the Patriots logo printed on the side, and a chair in the shape of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady’s head.
“That is Tom Brady… you know, my ex-wife [Jennifer Garner] thinks it’s creepy,” he revealed. “It is creepy,” Kimmel responded.
