After Andy Cohen posted a video of his dog lying in what remained of a torn apart toy, he experienced the first taste of parent shaming.
“Did you just eat my son’s stuffed Torah that the Rabbi gave him Wacha? And now you’re exhausted?” Cohen asks his dog.
“That was my son’s Torah. Did you want to explain to my son what you did? And what do I tell the Rabbi? Wacha? Wacha!,” he continues as Wacha looks partly guilty and partly like he couldn’t care.
Cohen just became a father for the first time less than two weeks ago to Benjamin Allen who he welcomed through a surrogate. He quickly found out just how judgmental others can be, particularly towards parents.
“Okay, flooded with DMs from people saying I’ve got a big problem on my hands” and that “Wacha’s jealous of my son,” the “Watch What Happens Live” host said in a new Instagram Story.
“Wacha didn’t know that the Torah toy, we’re talking about a Torah toy, belonged to the baby. He just had his eye on a purple f— toy, and he wanted to rip it apart. It’s not that deep. Stand down. Everything’s fine in the West Village,” Cohen added.
In a final video of Cohen and Wacha, he notes that he has “been a dad for 12 days” but already “people are judgy as f***.”
He clearly is a big fan of both the boys in his life. On Valentine’s, he shared this sweet photo with the caption “TWO Valentines! Lucky me” followed by a collection of hearts.
Benjamin was born on Feb. 4 after the Bravo host announced he was expecting a baby late last year. On New Year’s Eve, he spilled the beans that the baby was a boy.
