Amy Schumer may be expecting her first child with husband Chris Fischer but that isn’t preventing the pregnant comedian from getting up to some Mardi Gras-related shenanigans in New Orleans.
Ahead of Mardi Gras day — March 5 — Schumer shared some video of herself in NOLA’s Audubon Park, spontaneously joining a practice for one of the many Mardi Gras parades that will take place in the Crescent City over the next few weeks.
In the first of two videos she posted on Instagram, the 37-year-old “Trainwreck” star saunters up to the oblivious paraders, joining at the rear and hilariously attempting to learn their moves.
In the second video, Schumer finds an entirely different parade group to join.
While the due date of Schumer’s new arrival isn’t known, we do know the arrival of her latest comedy special: “Amy Schumer: Growing”, which will make its debut on Tuesday, March 19, on Netflix.
“Amy Schumer gives a refreshingly honest and hilarious take on marriage, pregnancy and personal growth in her new Netflix comedy special, ‘Amy Schumer Growing’,” reads Netflix’s announcement. “Filmed in front of a packed house in Chicago, the comedian talks about the joys of womanhood, settling into marital bliss, and yes also you guessed it, sex!”
