Meghan Markle’s baby shower was rumoured to have taken place Tuesday but it’s now been revealed that it’s actually happening Wednesday at New York hotel The Mark, ET Canada can confirm.
Markle, 37, was pictured in the city earlier this week before it was reported that her nearest and dearest were planning to throw her a baby shower.
According to a Tatler source, the party is being co-hosted by Amal Clooney and Serena Williams in the Penthouse Suite of the glamorous Upper East Side hotel, which is regularly visited by celebrities.

Jessica Mulroney, Markle’s best friend, and designer Misha Nonoo will also be in attendance, among others.
Clooney was pictured arriving at the hotel Wednesday in a bright red jumpsuit and black blazer ahead of the baby bash.
Gayle King, Mulroney and Nonoo were also seen making their way inside the venue in the rainy weather.
The two-floor accommodation, which costs around $75,000 a night, features six bathrooms and five bedrooms and has views over Central Park and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Tennis pro Williams is thought to be picking up the bill.
The hotel restaurant’s head chef, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, will reportedly talk the ladies through a dessert table, with the shower also kicking off with a flower-arranging lesson.

Other features of the shower included an orange tree for good luck and prosperity, a cotton candy machine and harp player, Erin Hill.
After the guests departed, Markle left The Mark through the service entrance around 8:30 pm to catch a late flight home on Clooney’s private plane.
This is thought to be the first of two baby showers for Markle, with her also having one back in the U.K. when she returns home from a royal visit to Morocco.
