Piers Morgan has slammed Little Mix after Jack Whitehall laughed about Morgan’s “four chins” with the girl group at Wednesday night’s Brit Awards.
Morgan accused the singers and presenter of “fat shaming” him on live television, with him telling the “Woman Like Me” hitmakers: “Shame on you, ladies!”
Morgan had previously called out the group for stripping off for a recent campaign.
His comments come after Whitehall told Little Mix, referencing Jesy Nelson’s Jamaican accent: “I know last year I brought up the Jamaican accent, and I’m under strict instruction not to mention it again.
“We’re just going to bring up your music and ting. Real talk: Can we bring up exes? Don’t worry, I’m not talking about boyfriends. When you left Simon Cowell, girls, it raised a few eyebrows. Not his, obviously, he’s lost all movement in his eyebrows. Is there any bad blood, or are you still friends?”
Things quickly got very awkward, with the four-piece giggling nervously, insisting they were still friends with the music mogul.
Whitehall then said of Morgan, “He didn’t like that picture where you stripped off naked… voluptuous chest and four chins, it must have been like looking in the mirror for him. Jesy, what would you say to that dutty wasteman?”
Despite the ladies’ reticence, you could tell Morgan wasn’t their all-time favourite person. See more in the clip above.
