Bradley Cooper, Lady Gaga, More Have Everybody Talking On Twitter Ahead Of The 2019 Oscars

With the Oscars 2019 being just around the corner, Twitter Canada has released some statistics to show which celebs and movies have been getting the most buzz online.

In terms of the prestigious Best Picture category, “Black Panther” has been getting the most mentions, closely followed by “A Star is Born”, then “Bohemian Rhapsody”.

“The Favourite” and “Green Book” round off the top five.

Bradley Cooper, who is up for the Best Actor gong for his role in “A Star is Born” has got the most buzz online out of those nominated. Rami Malek (“Bohemian Rhapsody”) and Christian Bale (“Vice”) also have everybody talking.

“A Star is Born” actress Lady Gaga topped the most-talked-about Best Actress nominees list, closely followed by “Roma” star Yalitza Aparicio and “The Favourite” nominee Olivia Colman.

In terms of Best Supporting Actor, Adam Driver (“BlacKkKlansman”), Richard E. Grant (“Will You Ever Forgive Me?”) and Mahershala Ali (“Green Book”) are the three most-talked-about celebs.

Regina King (“If Beale Street Could Talk”) and “The Favourite” stars Rachel Weisz and Emma Stone have the most mentions for the Best Supporting Actress gong.

The 2019 Academy Awards will be handed out Sunday at the Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles.
