Prosecutors In Jared Fogle Case Reveal New Text Messages To Escort Service: ‘I’ll Pay You Big For A 14 Or 15-Year-Old’

Former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle, who was sentenced to almost 16 years in prison for possession of child pornography and having sex with minors, may no longer be able to appeal his sentence after prosecutors have obtained new documents showing intent to harm more children.

According to PEOPLE, the prosecution’s recent filing shows text messages between Fogle and an adult escort, where the 38-year-old was asking for “young girls or boys.”;

In one instance, Fogle said: “If they can and you get me 16 or below, I’ll give you 400 at least.”;

Other text exchanges show Fogle asking the escort service to prove the age of the minors, where he admits it’s what he “craves.”;

“I would hook you up nicely if you [helped],”; he told the service.

Fogle is appealing his sentence claiming it’s more than the 12.5 years he asked for after he pleaded guilty. Prosecutors say the sentence was both “proper”; and “reasonable,”; adding that he “deserves no leniency for being thwarted in his attempts to exploit more children than he already had.”;
