Following his big Oscars appearance with Queen this weekend, Adam Lambert has released a special live session video of his latest single “Feel Something”.
The video features the “American Idol” runner-up in the studio performing the song, which was first unleashed last week.
In his announcement, Lambert included a message to fans thanking them for their “patience and continued faith in me.”
The singer opened up about “coming out of a dark period of second-guessing my own artistry and having my mental health suffer because of it.”
Lambert also credited touring and collaborating with Queen for helping “keep my head above water,” along with seeking professional help, before finally starting work on his new solo album.
“This was written about me climbing out of the low period, defying my disillusionment, owning my needs, and opening my heart,” Lambert wrote of his new single.
The new single and upcoming album mark Lambert’s first original music since The Original High in 2015.
