Everyone wants to know the inside details of Meghan Markle’s glamorous baby shower in the penthouse suite of The Mark, and some of the guests are ready to share.
Attendee Gayle King was one of the approximately lucky 15 guests at the exclusive New York shower, who spoke about the event on “CBS This Morning” the day after the event.
As one to do things on her own beat, Markle decided not to open her baby gifts at the shower for one special reason- she wanted to do it with Prince Harry.

“She wants to do that when Harry and her are back together, so I really don’t know what everybody got her,” King said. Shame, the gift list the most exciting part of the party!
King wouldn’t share what she got Baby Sussex, either. She was photographed with a colourful gift bag as she entered the New York hotel. “I think I got her something very nice,” she added.
When Markle left the hotel to catch a plane, she was spotted in a ‘Mommy’ necklace. Both Misha Nonoo and Abigail Spencer brought additional gifts to the hotel the day before, so perhaps it was from them.
Part of the shower included flower arranging led by Lewis Miller with the arrangements being donated Repeat Roses, revealed Harper’s Bazaar. Repeat Roses supplies previously used flower displays to cancer treatments centres, domestic abuse shelters, hospices, hospitals and more who shared some pictures on Instagram.

“I thought it was a very sweet thing, it just speaks to who she is. She’s very kind, she’s very generous and a really, really sweet person,” King said of Markle donating all the flowers.
“A good time was had by all, that’s what I’ll say … it was a very, very small private affair and just a very special time for her.”
