Desus & Mero (a.k.a. Desus Nice and The Kid Mero) have put their own spin on the Oscar-nominated flick “Green Book”.
The Bronx duo called their spoof “The Greenest Book”, rating the movie WG for “White Guilt”. It aired on their debut Showtime episode Thursday.
The parody tells the “story of a white man… who had the courage to know a black person.”
It begins with the movie cliche, “You know, we’re not so different, you and me,” before the pair begin their acquaintance.
“Green Book” is up for five Academy Awards at Sunday’s ceremony, including Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Original Screenplay.
Desus & Mero’s show also featured congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Desus & Mero weren’t the only ones poking fun at movies like “Green Book”, with Seth Meyers also sharing his own spoof.
He took on the role of every “white saviour” in a hilarious “Late Night” clip.
