ESPN’s Jon “Stugotz” Weiner is weighing in on the reported drama surrounding Kelly Ripa after her “Live!” co-host, Michael Strahan, announced his departure on Tuesday.

“She is so upset that she was not made aware of the news that Strahan was leaving before it was made available to the public, the mainstream media, she is so upset about that and the fact that Strahan is leaving after four years that she didn’t show up to work today,” Weiner said in a segment called ‘I Mean This Guy, Really?” “She makes $20 million a year. $36,000 per episode for one hour of work, when you include commercials, is about 40 minutes.”

“The Dan Le Batard Show”; co-host continued with his rant, reiterating the ABC star’s hourly wage with radio listeners. “Kelly Ripa is so upset about Strahan she can’t show up to a job that pays her $36,000 an hour. I mean this guy, really?”

With ESPN and ABC both owned by Disney, the comments are expected to raise a few eyebrows with executives who are looking to minimize negative press.

Ripa was also absent for Wednesday’s live taping of her morning show. Ana Gasteyer replaced the 45-year-old host while she was “taking the day off,” says a representative for the show.
