Regina King was truly swept up in her Oscar moment, getting her heels caught in the train of her gorgeous white Oscar de la Renta gown when she won for Best Supporting Actress – but luckily for the “If Beale Street Could Talk” star, Chris Evans was on hand to offer his assistance.

The “Avengers: Endgame” star quickly came to King’s aid, making sure she didn’t trip while helping her to the stage so she could accept her award.

The chivalrous act did not go unnoticed, with viewers taking to social media to praise Evans – including actress Jamie Lee Curtis:
The 60-year-old went on to compliment her on-screen son’s look. The two actors are set to star in the upcoming Rian Johnson film “Knives Out.”
