Over the next two weeks AnOther Magazine“s cover girl Michelle Williams will be posting her favourite things on the mag’s Loves Stream. In honour of “The Day of Love”;, the Blue Valentine star posted a picture of a rose-breasted Grosbeak with an explanation of why it strikes her fancy, saying it’s “My favourite bird to look for come spring. He looks like he’s been stabbed in the heart with blood trickling down his chest but he sings an awfully pretty tune.”;
Michelle who plays Glinda the Good Witch in the upcoming Oz the Great and Powerful, is featured in eight different fantasy looks inspired by the the theme: “There’s No Place Like Home,”; which were all shot by Willy Vanderperre and styled by Olivier Rizzo.
In the on set behind-the-scenes video, the three-time Oscar nominee opens up about more of her other most coveted items. “From Blue Valentine I kept my wedding ring. I kept it on for a while after shooting had stopped,”; she reveals. “I couldn’t quite take it off and now I keep it
above the kitchen sink where I do dishes.”; And another memento she couldn’t resist? “I kept a director’s chair that was used in My Week With Marilyn. It says Marilyn on it.”;
Speaking of connections, she says there was an immediate spark that drew her to all the roles she chose: “All I know is the first time I read a script is the most important time I read a script, there’s an instantaneous connection in that moment.”;
