Rami Malek could play a big role in “Bond 25”.

The Oscar-winning “Bohemian Rhapsody” star is in talks to star as the main villain in the next James Bond movie. “Bond 25” producers are high on Malek and have had him in mind for months, according to Variety.

The biggest challenge for “Bond 25” producers is working around Malek’s existing production schedule for the final season of “Mr. Robot”. Producers are so determined to have Malek involved they have spent months planning on how to work around his other commitments.

Malek’s role as Freddie Mercury in “Bohemian Rhapsody” earned him Best Actor awards at the Oscars, the Golden Globes, and the SAGs. There is no information about Malek’s potential character in the upcoming Bond film.

“Bond 25” is expected to hit theatres on April 8, 2020. Season 4 of “Mr. Robot” will premiere later this year.
