Patricia Arquette lit up television with her Golden Globe-winning performance in “Escape at Dannemora”; now, she’s looking to do it again with her new series.
Appearing on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Thursday, Arquette talks about her role in “The Act”, a true-crime series about a mother who has Munchausen by proxy, a syndrome causing her to keep her daughter sick and seemingly handicapped in order to dote on her.
“It’s really terrifying, it’s really weird,” Arquette says of the series. “And besides the weirdness of the Munchausen by proxy, the end of the story keeps twisting and turning.”
Also in the interview, Arquette talks about her brother David Arquette getting back into professional wrestling after being a one-time world champion.
“It is scary, you know?” she says. “He’s older now, he had a heart attack, and now he’s wrestling!”
