“Bachelor” tradition holds that each season of the romantic reality hit will yield the star of the subsequent season of “The Bachelorette”, but one of the “Bachelor” spinoff’s former stars doesn’t think any of this season’s crop of women has what it takes.

“I don’t think it should be anybody from this season,” Rachel Lindsay told Us Weekly of the women vying for the affection of Colton Underwood in the current season of “The Bachelor”.

“There’s just so much cattiness going on,” added Lindsay, who starred in the 2017 season of “The Bachelorette”. “You don’t know who to believe, you don’t know what’s true. I don’t trust any of them!”

Elaborating, Lindsay said, “She said this, she said that, and usually, when you get down to the top four, it’s drama-free… There’s just so much going on. I don’t like it! I can’t see any of them being the next Bachelorette.”

Currently living in Dallas with her “Bachelorette” fiance Bryan Abasolo, Lindsay thinks there are better choices for the next “Bachelorette” than the women of this current season, suggesting producers could “reach back and go pick somebody from another season.”

In fact, she already has two potential candidates in mind: Danielle Maltby and Kristina Schulman, who both appeared in the 21st season of “The Bachelor”.

“They’re my friends, so it’s nice!” she said of the women. “But I say that because I actually know them in real life, and I think they’re two women that people want to see find love. You’ve seen their hearts broken multiple times in different ways, and they’ve both been very outspoken about that.”

She added: “I know them personally, away from the camera, and how much they really want to find their person. So I think they would both be great.”
