‘A Star Is Born’ Soundtrack Tops Billboard 200 Chart Again

The official soundtrack for “A Star is Born” is back on top.

A Star is Born album found its way back to the top of the Billboard 200 chart following the 91st Academy Awards.

The album has now spent a combined four weeks atop the chart, improving from three to one with 128,000 equivalent album units (EAU) in the week ending Feb. 28. That is a stunning 152 per cent growth in EAU from last week, according to Nielsen Music.

The last time a soundtrack has spent so many weeks atop the charts is when Disney’s Frozen racked up 13 nonconsecutive weeks at number one in 2014.

Number two on this week’s charts is Ariana Grande’s latest project, Thank U, Next with 116,000 EAU. Rapper Gunna scored his highest charting album ever as Drip or Drown 2 debuts at number three.
