K-Pop Boy Band TXT Smash Records With Colourful Debut Music Video

There’s a big new K-pop group on the scene.

TXT, a boy band featuring singers Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Huening Kai, released their first-ever music video Monday night and quickly shot to the top of the charts.

At nearly 16 million views, the colourful and upbeat video for “Crown” quickly became the most-liked debut K-pop music video in its first 24 hours, according to E! News, beating out ITZY’s “Dalla Dalla” released earlier in 2019.

The “Crown” video is currently sitting at No. 3 on YouTube’s trending list, and the band’s album The Dream Chapter: STAR also became the first debut by a K-pop boy band to hit No. 1 on the U.S. iTunes chart, also reaching No. 1 in more than 40 other countries.
