‘Wonder Woman’ Director Patty Jenkins Congratulates The Team Behind ‘Captain Marvel’

The superhero universe is about to have two big-screen heroines, and there’s nothing but love between them.

On Thursday morning, “Wonder Woman” director Patty Jenkins tweeted her congratulations to the team behind “Captain Marvel”, the first solo female superhero to lead a film Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Jenkins included an illustration of Wonder Woman and Captain Marvel soaring together through the air together, created by artist John Yandall.

Seeing her tweet, “Captain Marvel” star Brie Larson thanked Jenkins for the support.

“Captain Marvel” hits theatres Friday, while Jenkins is hard at work on her follow-up “Wonder Woman 1984”, due out June 5, 2020.
