Vancouver-born actress/singer MacKenzie Porter is making waves in the Canadian music scene, and the Nashville-based country music artist has just released a new video for her latest single, “About You”.

The single, which is currently sitting in the Top 20 and climbing the charts weeks after its release, has already surpassed two million streams, laying the foundation for her next release in the spring.

In addition, it was recently announced that Porter, 29, will be joining the “Friends Don’t Let Friends Tour Alone” cross-country tour in the fall, joining Dallas Smith and Dean Brody.

“The video for ‘About You’ came together exactly how I envisioned it — a little edgy and a little dark. Telling the story of love that is so passionate, yet so toxic,” said Porter, who recently starred alongside Eric McCormack on “Travelers”.

“I think we’ve all been in those relationships where the highs are really high and the lows are so low,” adds the singer, currently based in Nashville. “In my experience, those types of relationships usually don’t end well and that’s the story I wanted to bring to life through the video.”
