With the news that a “Vanderpump Dogs” is the works, Lisa Rinna of “Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills” is threatening legal action towards her co-star, Lisa Vanderpump.

Other cast members of the reality show are suggesting that Vanderpump used season nine to set up her spinoff without telling anyone.

The show would focus on Vanderpump Dogs, an animal rescue run by the “Vanderpump Rules” star. In season nine, one of her staff members brought out a dog that belonged to Dorit Kemsley who gave the pup up to a kill shelter. He told Kyle Richards and Teddi Mellencamp about how they had to save the dog.

A source told US Weekly that the Housewives are upset because they feel she used them to set the new show up.

Rinna turned to Instagram Stories to vent her frustrations. In her post, she wrote, “I’m a hustler. I make no bones about that. I think you get paid for what you do. So my feeling is if we indeed are servicing a spin off we should be paid for it.”

She adds that she has no problem with the ladies using the “platform for makeup lines, bathing suit lines, network TV shows….fitness empires you name it” she will “100 percent” support it but they need to be told what they are using their services for and to be compensated for “playing out a storyline to launch a pilot”.

She ends her note with, “So if this indeed becomes another show my lawyer will be calling. $$$$$$$$$$$$.”

Mellencamp has also addressed the spinoff saying,  “Wouldn’t that be convenient? Really! I wonder why they based a whole drama about a dog!”
