Olivia Wilde Makes Her Directorial Debut With NSFW Trailer For High School Comedy ‘Booksmart’

Olivia Wilde is taking everyone back to high school in raunchy fashion.

A day after her directorial debut “Booksmart” premiered at SXSW, the red-band trailer for the film has been released, and it looks like it’s picking up the high school comedy mantle from the 2007 hit “Superbad”.

Kaitlyn Dever and Beanie Feldstein star in the film as two teens who have spent all their time studying and not enough time being sociable.

To make the most out of high school before heading off to college, the duo become big party animals, leading to plans of hilarious misadventures.

Response to “Booksmart” at SXSW was hugely positive, with some critics calling it a new “masterpiece.”
