Neil Patrick Harris is treating his brother in a very special way.
The “How I Met Your Mother” alum teamed with the crew of “My Houzz” to give his brother’s home a surprise renovation.

“It means a place to escape to. Home is something I just relish, cherish,” Harris says in the video, per People. “Brian doesn’t always want me to spoil him but I think this is one way I can do it.”
NPH, 45, described his brother as outdoorsy and wanted to infuse his sibling’s home with an “Indiana Jones” vibe. “I would love for my brother to have a sense of pride about this house so he can show it off,” the actor said.
The den needed particular care. Thus far, it had been used more as a storage unit than somewhere to kick back. “It feels like a room where you put stuff when you’re not sure where it goes,” Harris explained. “My heart is racing… I hope he loves it.”
The final product blew his brother away. “I was hoping that it would be nicer than it was,” Brian said, “but I never dreamed that it would be this nice.”

The backyard was just as good, if not better. “It’s an oasis in the desert,” Brian exclaimed. “It’s so zen.”
Harris and his brother shared a beer afterwards; Brian was sure to express his gratitude: “It feels like it had a lot of input from somebody who actually knew me so I expect you were behind that.”
