“Both Chris and I have made a commitment to continue to love the things about each other that we’ve always loved and to really continue to develop our friendship and to find ways to continue to communicate,” she explained.
“There’s been a long process to it, at some point maybe I’ll write a book because you really have to focus on forgiveness and spite that comes up, you have to let it go.”

Paltrow, who shares two children with Martin, said that the first couple of years after the divorce were “very effortful,” but that they were both “really committed to maintaining a family structure” for the sake of the kids.
“It’s definitely not effortless, but now at this point, five years later, it’s pretty good,” she said.
The goop businesswoman also talked about her recent marriage to Falchuk, whom she began dating in 2014 following her split from Martin.
“I guess if you’d asked me a couple of years ago I probably would have leaned towards not getting married again but then sometimes life just surprises you and it’s been really fun. I’m so happy that I was sort of given this other opportunity.”
