Hannah Brown will be the next Bachelorette, with Chris Harrison announcing the news to “Bachelor” Nation during Tuesday’s “The Bachelor: After the Final Rose” special.
Brown — a.k.a. Hannah B., a.k.a “Alabama Hannah” — will be at the centre of the 15th season of “The Bachelorette” when it kicks off in May.
Upon hearing the news, Brown burst into tears. “Oh my God!” she declared, adding, “It didn’t happen for me my first time around, but I do believe it can happen, and I’m so honoured people saw my heart.”

Fans didn’t have to wait for the new season, with host Chris Harrison introducing her five of the men who’ll be romancing the former Miss Alabama in the upcoming edition of “The Bachelorette” (we’ll presumably meet the rest when the new season kicks off on May 13).
Naturally, Twitter reacted to the news, and the response wasn’t exactly enthusiastic.
