Parents Of R. Kelly’s Girlfriend Have Fear Of A ‘Suicide Pact’

The mother and father of Azriel Clary fear for the life of their 21-year-old daughter.

Clary’s parents, father Angelo and mother Alice, spoke to “CBS This Morning” about their fears of a suicide pact between R. Kelly and Clary, the latter of whom is one of the singer’s live-in girlfriends.

When asked how Clary’s relationship with Kelly might end, Alice Clary told Gayle King, “I’ve heard, like, a suicide pact.” Her parents are especially concerned because Clary allegedly attempted suicide when she was 17.

“I take full responsibility… we never denied responsibility,” Angelo said in the “CBS This Morning” interview. “I feel like I failed my daughter because I should have [seen] different signs. I should have saw the change in my baby girl.”

Kelly lives with both Clary and Joycelyn Savage, 23, at the singer’s high-rise home.

Last week, both Clary and Savage told the program they were in consensual relationships with Kelly. The women claimed their parents were attempting to extort the singer by claiming the women were held against their wills.
