Netflix has unveiled the trailer for their upcoming series “The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann”.

The show is set to drop Friday and Netflix’s new teaser clip follows the mystery that has been hitting headlines for years; the disappearance of 3-year-old McCann, who vanished from Praia de Luz in Portugal.

McCann was on holiday with her family at the time when she was taken from their apartment back in 2007.

The series has been directed by “Fyre: The Greatest Party that Never Happened” director Chris Smith and will consist of numerous interviews, news footage and reenactments filmed throughout the case.

The youngsters’ parents Kate and Gerry McCann have not been interviewed for the documentary.

Clarence Mitchell, the family’s former spokesman, told the Guardian: “Kate and Gerry and their wider family and friends were approached some months ago to participate in the documentary.

“Kate and Gerry didn’t ask for it and don’t see how it will help the search for Maddie on a practical level, so they chose not to engage.”
