Olivia Jade will not be returning to the University of Southern California following the very public admissions cheating scandal.
According to multiple reports, Jade “no plans to return to USC” after news broke of her mom, Lori Loughlin’s indictment and arrest for her alleged involvement with the fraud scandal.
A source told People magazine that Jade “can’t handle anything right now. She seems more and more upset every day. She just wants to stay home.”
Meanwhile, another insider told TMZ that the bullying will be too much.
“She feels she has worked very hard to get different work deals and everything is just gone. She thought she knew what the future had in store for her, and it all just crumbled,” the source told People. “It’s a never-ending nightmare for her. She understands the serious consequences her parents are facing, and she is very scared.”
Loughlin and her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, allegedly paid $500,000 to falsify college enrollment papers, claiming Jade had rowed crew. According to the outlet, Jade is not listed as on USC women’s rowing roster.
Both Loughlin and Giannulli were both arrested this week on a felony charge of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud.
The pair accounts for two of 50 people indicted, including “Desperate Housewives” star Felicity Huffman.
