Nicki Minaj has been forced to cancel a third show on her “Nicki Wrld Tour”.
The rapper, 36, announced in a statement Friday that after a ship carrying her stage equipment failed to make it to her stop in Dublin, fans will not be able to attend the show.
“Unfortunately, due to adverse weather conditions which have affected Irish Sea sailings over the last 24hrs resulting in some equipment trucks not arriving, Nicki Minaj has been forced to cancel her concert tonight (Friday 15 March 2019) at Dublin’s 3Arena…Nicki Minaj apologizes for any inconvenience caused to fans due to these unforeseen circumstances,” the tour promoter said.
The show was cancelled two hours before the “Pink Friday” performer was set to hit the stage.
Earlier this month, Minaj cancelled two shows, one in France and one in Slovakia.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, Minaj explained, “technical issues” were to blame.
“I love performing for my fans. I’m more excited than you are before the show,” she wrote. “These two cities that had technical issues were cities that I had never been before and we tried to add them but they just didn’t have the power in the building to facilitate my show. And they didn’t tell us that until three hours before the show… We did a sound check, they said it was fine.”
Minaj’s next performance is supposed be in Glasglow.
